My first 7mgte build

I'm trying to get in idea if my current set up will achieve 400-450hp and at what psi. If not what next? I have not got my car tuned yet so just trying to figure out what to expect. This is my current set up.

-60-1 ct turbo
-spearco replica ic
-map-ecu
-rc 550cc injectors
-walbro fuel pump
-3in. exhaust
-aero fpr
-greddy type- bc
-spec stage 3 clutch

no ct will get you to 450. 400 yes but maxing it out which is not a good thing. maybe look into the sp61 bolt on turbo. will get you there easy and then some and will mate to the ct exhaust.

every thing else looks pretty good but i would add a afpr and a wideband.

I have a zeitronix wideband just can't get it to work. Worked with Zeitronix and he is puzzled to. What hp can be achieved before replacing internals SAFE HP.

according to this around 500hp u should start getting forged internals

i say at 450hp.. do it if u have the money

I'm in the process of getting my car painted just got my body kit from shine auto today. Feel like a kid in a candy store. But should be getting it tuned in a few weeks. Will let you know.

hmm why would u wanna spend all that extra money. all u want is about 400hp right?

btw hyman my bad you are right. its not a good idea to run it up that high but i am sure you can get up to 450-500 level no problem with a 60-1 ct26

For now that is what i want to achieve. HP is like women you can never have enough of it. LOl Well that is what my pocket can afford for now.

a 60-1 does not provide you with that much more hp than what a 57 will do. and it does not last even lose to as long as a 57. there are vendors who used to sell the 60-1 but stopped because of its unreliability. if you max it out sure you will get above 400 but for how long? any upgraded ct starts blowing hot air around 17-18 psi and reliability just goes out the window.

if you want that kind of hp reliable get a sp61 or something similar. there are other 60-1 turbos out there that bolt up no problems that will make that but they are not ct's.

The turbo in the driftmotion kit is not a ct26 60-1 it is a true 60-1 totally different turbo.
