Yep, those ebay hardlines....they are too long....

I had to loop mine around when i installed it....thinking nothing of pinching the ends ( of the hardline connections)......but after a while of the stage 3 RPS's pressures on that line...the connectino b/t the line itself and the fittings broke apart.

I was on my way home tonight from work ( 20 mile drive on the HW from M'boro to Nashville TN).....I was lucky...

I had around 1/8th and inch of clutch pedel travel.....I think the only thing that kept it moving was the air that got into the lines!!!!!!!

When i pulled in my driveway it gave out hahahahah

So now, I am ditching the cheapo ebay SS line idea and getting an OEM toyota line.

Seems that some particular stock lines are better....since the ebay people must have just made one length ( universal fitment) for toyota....and it took for friggen ever to get to me...like 2 weeks becuase they are in Canada ( customs)

Just wanted some peeps to know about those lines.....stay away from them...just get stock :icon_razz

There is a specialty hose place here in Murfreesboro called Patco. They specialize in fittings and hoses in every single type of size.

If i had a straight hose, i doubt the ends would of given out....

Its like wearing a dress shirt with TIGHT cuffs... Of course if you keep your arm STRAIGHT nothing will happen, its just tight.....but if you bend your wrist or arm, the buttons will start to pop!

Thats exactly what happend to me, on the SS line.

Well its almost there....

I got the stupid Ebay crap line out after a 30 minute escapade....the the clutch fork fell out....had to take off the see through port and put that back in and single handedly screw the slave cylinder back in (to keep the fork in place)...

The new line from HPF is AWSOME...just the right length..made with better materials and end nuts too!..practically a straight "soft/hard" line from the slave to the master cylinder hardlines...whereas the ebay one was like twice the length, that being its demise.

My mom has helped me bleed the clutch today.....though 20 minutes of her pumping the clutch pedal has gotten the brake fluid REALLY hot ahhahahah...she doesnt know what to do except just "press the clutch in mom!".....

when my brother comes home he will help me a little more bleeding it....

I cant wait to drive my car again, its been 2 friggen long weeks!!!!!!!!!!!! :squint:
