my dad is oringinally from iraq and my mom is from here... my dad was telling me about the supra's in iraq. (mostly about mk3's he said mk4's wernt out yet early 91'92 and 80's) he had one there and over there he said there were mk3s and everything else was like fiat's and pueguot?. well he said that one day when he went back there to visit "hes brother has his mk3 89 turbo" that the police were having them as cop cars now? so my dad told me this is what happened... there was about 10 to 20 mk3's and they all lined up ona famous bridge "dont know the name" and they started to burn out to get the police;s attention and chase them. the original cop cars were fiats n such. so the cops obviously could not catch them and my dad said that they police had mk3' cop cars. the king at the time got pissed of and had changed them and his son also had about 3 or 4 of them.. i thaught that was kind of cool... he talked to his brother the other day and asked him for any picture's of the cop cars but he said they are no longer using them to his knowledge..... i thaught it was kinda cool to see that there were supras like in that are of the middle east....:naughty: i recently went to egypt on a vacation and i saw a mk4 and it was preety nice. it was a tt and 94 i think was the year. i dont know if any of you have been to a middle eastern country but boy the driving is alottt diffrent and dangerous.:icon_evil ill try n get some pics but i dont know if he has any that are old and he might be able to find.. also in saudi arabia the mk3 supra is known to every one as the desert car because a guy from there drove threw the dessert in the summer and it didnt break down:biglaugh: just to show how good are cars really are.. it gets really hot there to "in the 120's"
