My clutch is slipping. Which one do you recommend?

My power goals are the 400 range and it will be driven around town mostly with the very occasional trip to the drag strip. I don't live in an area where grid lock traffic is a problem.

What are you running and what do you recommend?

Thanks for your thoughts! :icon_bigg

I run a Spec Stage 3. Easily holds 400+ and is very streetable. Grabs like a mutha. If you dont want a pucked clutch, you can get the Stage 2, it should hold your power goal as well.

I also say spec. i Love my spec, and their customer support is great as well.

I want to drive your car around the parking lot at the next meet (once the snow is gone). I was leaning towards the stock disc + 2800 PP but I may go the SPEC route instead. I want it to hold 450 tq and have ZERO chatter...

how much can the stock PP hold?

I don't think you will get a straight answer on that. I asked the same question and I still don't know. What I do know is that I have over 500 ft lbs of tq and it does fine.
I think 500 would be the limit if you want it to last.

I just asked Neil from C&N Performance and he said 450 reliable.

No problemo. I think i might have a clutch master cyl problem, but it should be sorted out then. My bro has the stage 3, i got the 2+ or w/e it is called with the full face disk, but right under the stage 3 6 puck.

I like the Centerforce Dual Friction. I love the holding power. I have dyno'd 410ftlb and I have sprayed a 150hp shot at the track on it. It is EXTREMELY streetable. I love the RPS but for a street car I highly recommend this Centerforce. Remember it is the ORANGE pressure plate, not the gold one.
