My car being used in the New Need For Speed Game

so working at a shop has its perks. got handed an oppertunity to have my supra used as a sound clip for a Need For Speed advertisment. its either the game itself or for the commercial. ill know more by tomorrow. all i know is they need my motor for the mkiv supras sounds.

i dunno. find it kinda cool i can play the game or watch TV and be like... "Yup thats my car u hear!"

but I'd rather the mk3 not be used physically in the game...
Sounds are fine, but once you can rice it out and get "style points" I think I'll vomit blood.

You guys did read that they are only using the sound from his car because it's similar to a MKIV. They are not going to use a MKIII. They just want the sound not the car.

hes got a bpu 2JZ so it will sound the same as it would if it were in a MK4. its not like they are using a 7M car for the sound because that would definately sound different.

yup its for the game.

other cars there tuesday will be Ford GT, Rx7, 350Z and Aston Martin DB9.

so far it seems all i get is a copy of the game before its release and of course BRAGGING RIGHTS!!



anyway, ill make sure us Supra owners look and sound good!

I guess I just didn't understand what you meant in your previous statement. The MKIII isn't going to get any recognition from this at all except in our tiny little community. On the game it is going to look like a MKIV and sound like an MKIV. The only reason they are using Nicks MKIII is because it has a bad ass sounding 2JZ in it. No rice kiddies are going to know it's a MKIII making the sound, while they race their MKIV around the track.
