This sucks... lol

Should have an update sometime (not-so(?))shortly.

Hey now, THIS is a good website.

First kid? You'll likely be there for a long time.... like sometime tomorrow before it really kicks into gear.

Good luck! :)

Water's broke and we're pushing 9cm... Was hoping to see the little bugger by now! I've tried getting him to come out quick w/ promises of puppies and cars-Nothing. Must take after his mother

Thank goodness she got the epidural, otherwise I'd be her 'fave' person I'm sure.

I will until someone posts something else for me to read in another thread...

It feels like another of those 'mg I've read EVERY POST on SM' deals.

I'm gonna try to find some games or something before i start jabbing needles into my arm.

You know whats fun to do while you wait, go find a bed in the hall and cover yourself up and scare people when they walk by.:biglaugh:

Haha, 1st baby takes forever.

I was in labor for a whole day before I realized it, but even when I went to the hospital I was only 3cm. Took another 8 hours to get to 10. So 20 hours total, about.

Good luck Matt :)

~ 3pm yesterday (4cm) to.... about 2pm today (9 +2).

SOOOOO glad i talked her out of coming in at like 10pm.

She's done awesome though. She's only just recently broke down because now she's getting worried and I think the hormones (..damn it...) are starting to kick in. Was going to post a pic of her laying in bed all phat n everything for the world to see, but I forgot to bring the camera cord, sorry all.

I've got World War Z out in my car, but I think it's too late to go get it now to read. But I dunno, I may make a break for the car and go grab it real quick.

There's a small chance of some probs w/ meconium, but that's no biggie.

HURRY THE EFF UP KID!

First babies are always the longest.. I went into labor at 9:00 am on Saturday June 24th,2006 (atleast thats when my water broke, I could have been in labor before) and didnt have my son until 2:48am on Sunday June 25th,2006... I actually never had any pain during my labor w/o medicines.. I was very fortunate.. I had to have the epidural because of a c-section..

Congrats mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fingers crossed for you and your missus it is a relatively straight forward and uncomplicated delivery :)

I suggest NOT going to your car... My man missed Chloe's delivery a few weeks ago, because he went outside to make a call to my mum... Things went from not happening at all, no dilation, to fully delivered in a matter of minutes!!!!

Wow! That was the fastest hour of my life! Once we got to the pushing stage, it was only about 40 mins or so. MUCH faster than I expected.

He came out fine, no complications, no yelling/screaming, no passing out and hitting the floor.

Little Baby Nicholas Matthew, 8lbs 3 oz 20 1/2" long. Looks just like his daddy, Lucky dog!

I did fine until he started crying, sounded beautiful... but I'm not looking forward to a lot of it n the years to come. :icon_bigg

he and mom are doing well. I'm effing STARVING

Oh, and I'm super excited if you couldn't tell.
