So my 1991 n/a has been in the shop for i'd say about 2 month... maybe even 2 in a half..i swapped the motor for another ge and swapped the auto for a r-154 myself..i did most of the mechanical work... and left a shop to do the most of the electrical cuz i was stuck. and also a couple things like putting the ac compressor, connect the down pipe to the exchaust, etc..the guy said he would charge me 300-900 for labor..and w/e parts he needed i bought and brought to him..the last time i took parts to the shop was almost 2 months ago.i went to the shop last week and it looks like they put my car on the back burner...they're taking alot longer than what they said they would...and what i thought as well...they're looking at my supra like a long term project.. the mechanic wants to finish rebuilding an old school camaro before fnishing with mine...hopefully he'll get started this week...anyways jsut wanted to share my b.s..u guys ever get dicked around by a shop?:icon_evil Yarp.

I haven't been screwed around by a shop yet... I can honestly count the number of times I've had a vehicle or part of one in a shop on one hand and still have fingers to spare. ;)

I do understand the frustration though. I've had plenty of friends go through it. This reminds me that I should check in with another local owner who was having this problem in a major way... Although his has been there for about four times the time yours has.

Hope they get crackin' soon for ya. Me, I'd be getting downright mean.

I don't even want to take my car in to get an alignment, can't say I know the pain firsthand but I DEFINITELY know down time quite well. I bought this car in November 07 and it's been broken since January. FINALLY got it back on the road today, and the AFM crapped out on me :wtc:
