Really have no other way to describe it. Car has killed two igniters in less than 3000 miles. Doesn't get much use, maybe 2500 miles a year. Probably why the guy sold the car in the first place.

I end up with a no spark condition, replace the ignitor and all is well, car runs great.

It does kind of lead into the failure. Before it completely fails you can leave it sit for a while (hour, days, week) and it will fire back up and run great. It's never done it while driving around, it'll just leave you stuck somewhere. Fortunately it's only left me stuck at my house, except now I'm out of spare igniters.

No codes from the TCCS except the "no IGN signal after cranking X number of seconds" code. Not sure the number off hand.

Any ideas? (Other than I swapped in a faulty igniter the first time?)
