My 1JZ (finally)

been at the shop since november, the engine was supposed to come in at the end of november or beginning of december, but there were issues with shipping and i ended up not getting the engine until 1/4/08...then to add to it, the shop owner got sick for the week after he got the engine, so here's some pictures i asked him to send me...i know it's not much but i'll update this thread as i get more pictures and i'll take TONS once i get it back and everything's finished

lol...actually most i've driven the car was around the block with a 7M-GE that barely ran

this is gonna be a completely different animal

you'll love it im sure hehe i liked just driving my 7m i cant wait for the 2j to be up. and i dont care what anyone says 1jz's torque is fine! try driving a SOHC civic.... up hill

kind of a half update...i guess i accidentally unsubscribed to the thread so i forgot about it

all my wiring was finished about 2 weeks ago and jon sent me pictures of it all done:

he also redid my a/c lines and found me a cat for $125 shipped

only thing i'm missing now is my hydrofan controller...anybody know where i can get one?

i was going to keep it stock but the clip came with a HKS intake and my stock exhaust was rusted so i got a cat-back
