O.K. I may have lied a little. I like to think that I stretched the truth. I am trying to do an automatic to five speed swap. Do I need to replace my brake pedal as well as the clutch pedal? On one thread I read, it saids that I do, but that was the only one where I seen it mentioned. Just thought I would ask. I just posted the pictures because I was bored..................lol

The black car is the one I bought from V8Quest in Dothan Alabama. Hopefully the transmission is good. The turbo is seized on the car and the headgasket is blown. It looks like he ran the car extremely hot before it blew........:3d_frown: ....................Actually Vince bought it that way. Someone else blew it up..............lol

The third picture is my favorite. It looks like one hell of a launch. If anyone wants the NOS stickers off of the back glass, I will gladly get them off and mail them to you. You just have to promise to post pictures of them on your car.......................;)

Yeah the only thing is, that there are two wires on the transmission that are fried. I have to call toyota and see if I can get that sensor and then rewire it. Thanks for the looking out for me though.............lol

GL with the swap, im still fond of my car being totally intact. Figure i will have to break something major before i give up on the auto trans.

just wondering what are you doing with that parts car??? hows the ic and piping??? and wut are you doing with your old torque converter?? did your auto trans slip or did you just want to get rid of it.

Americanjebus, It was slipping. I think it had one too many powerbrakes. I will probably keep the transmission because my wifes is an auto. There's a transmission shop three miles from my house. I'm going to just let them rebuild it and put it in hers when hers dies. Maybe it won't die, but something tells me it will.

The intercooler is stock, but it looks fine. It has a slight bend in it like it's been hit by something. It doesn't look damaged at all though. The i.c. piping is also stock, but it too, looks o.k. If you need something let me know.

IJ, you know their is no kryptonite for Suprahero. Not even a two ton supra is any match for my hard head, BUT, just in case, I think I will be even more careful..................lol

I come from a land down under
SH: a long time ago I had a car slip off the floor jack and pin me between it and the garage door, lucky for me the door bowed out enough that I wasn't hurt but ever since I'm double careful!

^scary stuff having a car fall, had a friend crawl out from under his car walk over to his toolbox for a wrench and before he could open the box the jackstands slipped out from under the car and the whole thing just fell. No one said anything for like 3 full minutes. Dont risk it man, 3400 lbs is heavy.
