I know he's got a larger turbo setup, but he's also on a JWT "tune".

If you are. Retarding your base timing, and adding methanol, you're killing your power..

it was me you're thinking of, i know i am retarding timing. i actually killed the rings and one piston on that engine. but that was at roughly 20psi... so, i'm at 10psi currently, and 5 degrees btdc. its safe and its able to hang with, if not beat ~350whp cars. so, when i get my tt gasket in, and a standalone. i'll start making more power. meanwhile i'm enjoying reasonable power, reliability, and pretty good gas mileage. plus, you can hear in that race something happened to my car when i went into 4th. i think it was either the clutch slipping, or the tires spinning. my methanol kit is currently disarmed, btw.

oh, i made that shift. something wasnt holding. because when it hit the limiter, i went back into it, and i never touched the shifter during all of that. oh well, i thought it was good that i pulled him that hard at the beginning. if there were no mishaps, i probably would have kept him back.
