How many of you have attended a music festival?

I'm privileged to live in Northern California, Right in the middle of a ton of them. Also living in the center of my favorite broad genre of music's "capitol", Alternative Rock.


I have been to 3 of Live 105's BFD's 2 Cochella's(not this years, dammit) and like 4 Warped Tours.

Thats all my music. Have any of you attended anything of the such? Multiple(5+) bands playing on multiple stages? Think Woodstock if you still don't have my drift.

I'm really excited for next Saturday, This BFD is going to kick ass!

This years lineup

Im' excited to see Queens of the Stone age for the 5th time live. Social Distortion will be awesome as well

My first was CalJam 2 about 500k people, Ted Nugent, Aerosmith and many others, my next was the Knebsworth Festival in August 1979 in the UK about 300K people, me and five friends went to England to see Led Zeppelin play in the forest. It was a dream come true. Five teenagers from Orange County California sitting around a friend’s tranny shop when one says, hey you hear Zep is playing in the forest in England. I say hey our friend Lynn is going there this summer, let's go see them, they all looked at me and said Rick if you can get tickets to the concert were game. I did, we went and the rest is lore. So if any of you youngster’s out there think you wanna do something wild and crazy, I like then, say Go For It, were only young once.

I like what you added at the end, I'm going to keep that in mind, I'm only 18 once right?

Almost Saturday, I just hope all the bands I want to see arn't playing like at the same time.
