Multiple Warning Lights On

Has anyone encountered this? Was driving down the road with the cruise control on when suddenly the cruise disengaged, then the Battery, Brake and Tail Light Indicators came on. All 3 stayed on for a while then went out. Made it home safely but ever since then the indicators will come back on and go back out at random. Not sure where to start looking. Thanks for any help.

I'd first check my battery connections and remove all corrosion and tighten them up.

Sounds like what happens when the car turns off or right when you turn the key to acc on and all the lights go on. It probably turned off on you but because you were in gear at speed it kicked the motor right back over and was fine again. I'd check battery connections first and possibly could be a problem with an ignition lock cylinder but I'd bet on battery connection.

happened to me right before my alternator went out.. its happened to a few others here before their alternator let go. Also check grounds, and the battery.

The alternator was what I was leaning towards as the culprit. Thanks for that reply, it validates what I thought as most likely. I will get the alternator checked and go from there. Thanks a lot.
