I've been searching for an install guide for the 7MGTE resistor pack and cannot find one. I know that alot of you have done it, and I have the resistor, I just am not sure where is needs to go. I have installed the 440 injectors but the car won't run. They are the same impedance as the USDM supra injectors.

Thanks in advance

that i believe is what the plug looks like looking into it on the resistor side. pin 2 i think is the 12v input and the other 3, doesn't matter, are for the injectors. just pair up 2 injectors per channel.

but look at your pack, if the colors on the wires are still good, you should have: black, red, yellow and black/orange. the BO is input, B, Y, R are all outputs.

your doing it wrong.

jdm 2jz 440cc injectors Plug and Play

usdm 550s resistor its 4 wires, wire them in groups of two and call it a day.

ok im led to believe that most people are just repeating what others have told them without having a real idea them selves of how this system works.

the injectors all have a constant uninterrupted (with IGN ON) 12v.

the ecu fires them by giving each injector a ground in order to complete the circuit.

the resistor is wired in between the 12v source and the injectors.

this is the reason there are only 3 wires, in all actuality depending on the implementation of the resistor pack it could have been done with one wire ( i might be wrong i am not an expert in electronics)

this i believe is what makes it confusing to most people. but after you realize that it is ground signals that are firing the injectors then i think it shoudl become clear how this works.

so, there are four wires from the resistor.

one wire gets 12v with IGN on.

the other three, give power to each injector.

take one of those wires, and have it go to the number 1 and number 4 injectors.

take the second wire, and have it go to number 2 and 6

finally the third, will go to 3 and 5

what you must be sure of is that the wire you are splicing in from the resistor to the injector is going to the positive lead on the injector.

to test this, turn the ignition on and see which wire on each injector has voltage.

i hope that was clear.

***EDIT:

wow wtf was i smoking. i meant the ECU fires the injectors. fixed.
