wow you guys must be doing something wrong. my friends mr2 with 1000cc injectors and an aeromotive 1000lph (i think thats what it is) gets 15mpg with just WOT runs. i'm not sure if thats the actual size of the fuel pump but it flows a gallon of gas every 20-30 seconds if its running at full capacity.

LOL...fuel pump flow has nothing to do with mph...fuel pressure does and the size injectors does. Comparing an MR2 to a Supra is apples to oranges.

And what does that have to do with mph on a Supra Mk III with 550 injectors?

I get 19 city and getting on it. I have 550s, afpr, and walbro. Reading a thread on the "other" forum, they're talking about checking your O2 sensor. That may make a difference. Someone was saying that they just about last 30-50,000 miles. Not sure about that, but my car is @ 171K.

I get 27 mpg with mine. I set it up to run lean on a long trip, at least a little bit. I run about 15.5 afr on long trips and get that.

In town, I don't keep my foot out. I get about 9....

LOL....fuel pressure and injector size has nothing to do with mph [sic]... air fuel ratios and timing does.

:)

If you run too ruch under normal driving conditions, you'll have terrible mileage. IF you can run a 16.5 to 1 air to fuel ratio, then you'll see an increase in mileage. Of course, you can only do this with a standalone and by changing the timing map.

Some guys with the AEM are seeing near 30 mpg in cruise situations.

Like Al siad injector size has nothing to do with your fuel consumption, at a certain load condition the engine will require a certain amount of fuel. Driving normally and not getting on it would use the same fuel with 440cc 0r 1000cc injectors.

Why don't you run your fuel pressure up to, say 45-50 psi and watch what happens to your gas milage. And your AFR's ;) It's gonna make you run rich (of course) and your gas milage is gonna go down.
