I did a search on this, but the replies i found didn't help as the recomendations were all over the place.

I figure that I need a 4" bolt, but does anyone know the specs on the bolt? Thread pattern and size?
The bottom bolts on the engine are smaller than the top, but I am assuming that the stand will most likely use all of the bigger top bolts when I line it up.

I looked at Home Depot and couldn't find a match, but I haven't gone to Lowes yet.

If someone has four of these bolts laying around I would be more than happy to buy them off of you to save me a trip to Lowes.

Thanks,
Ryan

I found the specs on the bolts. I got lucky and the hardware store down the street from my work (True Value) had them!

The bigger upper bolts are: 12mm 125 pitch (got them in 4").

The lower smaller bolts are: 10mm 125 pitch (got them in 4").

Also, I am using a Harbor Freight engine stand, which has big spacers that require the longer bolts.

Thanks guys for the info on the head bolt info, but I didn't have an engine in my car when I bought it. :)

lowes has the m12 1.25 bolts. i went all over town looking for them....i think i went to 4 or 5 deferent stores before i found them at lowes.

Lowes has a nice selection of bolts! I went there yesterday, but couldn't find them there, however I was in a rush.

EDIT: Lowes has the correct bolts! The bolts I bought from the hardware store didn't work, even though they were the right pitch and everything...Weird.
