Okay my new supra has 198,000k miles and a motor swap would probably be better. What motor should I swap in? Any websites I can go to see the prices and stuff? And how much would a motor swap with all the basic stuff done to it so it was last a long time?

I'm really stupid so I need all the help I can get. Thank you for your help!

950 for ge shipped to the shop
Oil pump

Hoses
Clutch
Throttle Cable
O-ring
Misc. Gaskets
Oil
And Labor for 550

Im sure theres things im forgetting but a for about 500 more i could have done a complete gte swap, but that was extra money i couldnt accumulate at the time

tachyon perfromance, a local shop here. There young guys really bout my age, but they know there stuff. The quoted me 500 to pull and drop the motor and the 50 was for taking the motor off the truck, cant blame them tho_Other than that i feel like i got over on them for doing so much work for so little, but i guess it all depends on how ya look at it

I just replaced my engine with JDM engine that had just had a new MHG and major engine work done. I won it in an auction on eBay for 500.00, and had it installed locally for 630.00 at Drift Tech in Vista CA. Drift Tech did an awesome job, the motor purrs, and so far feels really strong.
