This motor was just running a couple weeks ago and now that it was swapped into another Supra it doesnt want to turn over for anything in the world.

I have checked all grounds, replaced the starter with a brand new one, and battery is brand new.

I made a video with my cell phone and it's really really shitty quality, and is turned the wrong way but there isnt much to see. But just listen at how it sounds when I try to start it. Its like the starter is trying and trying, but barely moves the engine over.

Any input would be great but I need to get this thing running.

Thanks.

chk your plugs and wire set up,,make sure you have the proper firing order, and chk ur crank position sensor, up is more rpms, down is less rps. turn it all the way up. and if that dosent work chk ur vacuum hoses.

Only the FPR vacuum is on for the most part. I believe that firing order and these things that are essential to combustion process is irrelevant when the motor barely turns over. We changed the head gasket on the motor during the swap. It is so weird that this motor barely turns over.

Checked the battery? I know it's a stupid question, but they have been known to go bad fast if they have a weak cell and the heat will bring it on quick.

lol... we have a distributor on the n/a that the spark plug wires run from. the coil is on the driver side.

i would double check:

Timing
Firing order
good starter & charged battery

cause if those are all good, the engine will turn over just fine, not start, but turn over. and your video is 'no longer available'... so i couldnt watch it.

Figured out that the clutch was not aligned with an alignment tool and the motor did not want to turn over cause the transmission was engaged no matter if the clutch was in or out.
