It's easy, I'm getting paid to do it with my friends supra and my old NA engine that I ripped out for my JDM swap. Basic socket set. Make sure you have box wrenches, extensions, and a damn good pair of pliers.
Remove battery
Remove the entire intake up to the Throttle body (A few screws, Screw clamps, and one constant pressure clamp [a vacuum fitting for the power steering pump hides underneath the intake muffler])
Remove the glove box (Some screws and 10 and 12mm's)
Disconnect the Engine harness from the ECU/ECT/ABS Units
Pull the engine side of the wire harness through the firewall CAREFULLY
Disconnect the speedometer cable from the transmission (Fingers)
(For A/T) disconnect the shifter linkage (One clip)
(For M/T) Remove the center finish panel that goes over the radio and shifter housing (Screws)
(For M/T) Remove the shifter (Four 12mm bolts)
Remove all ground straps (Including the one on the transmission)
Disconnect the fuel lines (One 17mm bolt and one constant pressure clamp)
Disconnect the two heater hoses by the firewall (four constant pressure clamps)
Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses (four constant pressure clamps)
(For A/T) Disconnect the transmission cooler lines from the radiator (four constant pressure clamps
Disconnect the AC lines from the compressor (two 12mm bolts)
Disconnect the powersteering lines from the Powersteering pump (Make sure you don't take the bolt/fitting out of the powersteering pump, just the bolt that holds the fluid fitting onto the bolt/fitting inside the pump) (one 17mm bolt and one constant pressure clamp)
Remove the clips that hold the lower half of the fan shroud
Remove the radiator (two 12mm bolts)
Remove the fan (four 10mm bolts)
Disconnect the throttle cables and Cruise control cable (Either two or three depening MT/AT) (12mm Box Wrench)
Disconnect the Exhaust Y-pipe that attaches to the Exhaust manifold (three 14mm bolts) (I found it extremely difficult to remove the y-pipe with the engine in the car, so I just disconnected the cat from the y-pipe [two 14mm bolts])
Put a jackstand under the transmission and the driveshaft
Disconnect the four bolts for the tranny crossmember (12mm)
Put a sling over the engine
Lift the engine up slightly as to take some weight off of the motor mounts
Remove motor mount bolts going through the holes underneat the steering rack (two 17mm nuts)
Remove the jack stands underneath the transmission CAREFULLY (I used the stock Toyota jack to relieve weight on the jacks stands)
Jack the engine up SLOWLY tilting the engine so that the transmission is closer to the floor
Remove anything else you see along the way
I know I missed some things and probably got some bolt sizes wrong, but I just wanted to give you an idea of what all was involved. I hope this helps.
Edit: Added some things I missed.
