I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Amsoil Zrod motor oil? I have ran Amsoil in everything I have drove(Started racing at age 5) and have always had good luck with their oil. My thought is with the added zinc which is no longer allowed in most motor oil would help reduce engine wear. I'm going to be rebuilding my 7m-ge(purchased with a rod knock) and doing the turbo electronics change over. I will have je .40 over pistons, eagle rods, arp hardware, schnider regrind cams, along with a few other things. Car will not be daily driven it will be more for weekend cruise/track runs. Any thoughts or info would be greatly appricated. In case anyone is wondering, no I am not planning to use this during the break-in peroid.
