Today I wanted to lean my car out some, runing rich at 4 thousand rpm and above. I have 12% on afc taken out at those rpms but still below 11.0-1 afrs.
The thing is I dont want to keep taking fuel out with afc because of the effect it has on timing. When I lower fuel pressure my vf readings go to the lean side at idle, 4.9v.
I have been driving thet car at about 43psi fuel pressure, hose disconnected. At this pressure afr's are to rich under boost but with this pressure I have
3.5v vf readings. I lowered fp to 40psi, hose disconnected, and my vf readings jumped up to 4.9v, afr's at idle 14.9-15.3
So what do I do about this if I want to lean things out more? car is still to rich at 40 psi fp but at maximum correction(4.9v) on idle according to vf readings. Also what is considered a general safe % range to take out with afc?
