I had my day off yesterday so I checked the hose coming off the bottom of the turbo, and it has a little crack just where the clamp is.
I checked the level of the power steering fluid and it was low so I added some and today I went to check and it's low again. The smell of the exhaust is kinda sweet. I saw some oil on the top of the manifold but probably was when the valve cover gaskets were bad. The gauge only reads 4psi.I have a hole in the stock muffler.
I didn't pass the smog check. There's a knock or ticking sound in my engine. I checked the antifreezer and it's fine no leaks, no oil leaks either. The turbo is new as well. I'm going to check the Air flow meter. The idle is high 900-800 rpms. It's hard to stars in the morning.
I bought a 3" cat back no cats/ 3" DP but I haven't recived them yet. Should i installed them ? probably it's going to help me if I have a clogged catalytic .

It wouldn't help you pass emissions thats for sure. IMO you have more problems that need to be delt with before you go worrying about your catback.

-replace the turbo hose even if its a little crack theres alot of pressure on that side of the turbo

-find out where the P/s fluid is leaking from.

-find out whats the tapping sound. Do you have enough oil in it?

good luck.

you might get lucky and bring the hose to a local parts store, so they could match it up with a different hose, but if not to the stealership it is.

It's leaking power steering and I have to fix the coolant sensor. I need to replace the negative wire from the battery. The good thing is I got the idle set at 650rpms.

Take the powersteering belt off until you get it fixed. It's a little harder to drive but you get used to it quick and you don't have to waste money buying more fluid constantly.

It's probably cheaper and easier to get a couple of couplers(sounds redundant, i know), a few clamps, and some mild steel tubing than buying the junk stock parts, even if they are new.

It sounds like you just got your Supra not long ago. Welcome. :drink1:

word, this is how it goes, haha spend spend spend, you save for one thing, but spend the money on repairs before you're halfway there, somehow its all worth it, even if you just get to drive it once a week, hehe.
