Wondering how to get more boost out of the supra. It has been rebuilt .40 over, newer C26 turbo with minimal shaft play. All hard intercooler pipes, Front mount, 3" down pipe and 3" exhaust from there. Aftermarket "cone" type filer. Im getting about 9psi right now but want to get more. Any suggestions? Also what oil is reccommended in a 7M-GTE motor?

Boost controller and greddy bcc or hks fcd. The bcc / fcd isnt really necessayy unless you decide to boost above fuel cut. I use about 6.5 quarts of mobil 1 10w40. Oh, get a boost gauge so you know where you're boosting.

Have boost guage, air/fuel, safc, and some other misc guages. Im going to go with a new elbow to get air moving a little better then bump up my injectors and do a rear end swap since my limited slip is about shot. Then probably upgrade the turbo and run a afm off of a lexus? does this seem right?

not really reccomended but if you dont want to buy a boost guage, you could always shim the wastegate for a few extra lbs. or just buy the no name manual boost cont. i have for 10 bucks shipped

If you upgrade the stock ct26 get it done by www.turbocharged.com they're a reputable company. The specs for my upgraded ct are 60-1 and clipped 10 degrees. The Lex afm will automatically bump up the fuel cut and you will be able to run higher boost. You definitely need 550 injectors if you're using the lex afm.

Hello, 1_slo_92:

You have a couple options to go with.

1.You can get a Wastegate Shim Kit...provided by MDCmotorsports:icon_surp, which you can order through me right now.
The kit comes with longer studs & a variety of sizes of shims (in mm's) to meet your needs. If you are unfamiliar, you just pop off 2 bolts on your wastegate actuator, stick shims under, put bolts back in! This would be a good option for your stock turbo if you want to squeeze just a few more psi out of it. When I ran a stock turbo, I ran 13.5psi for a couple months before I went with a Manual Boost Controller (which is your other option).
Provided you have some deep pockets, you can also get an Electronic Boost Controller. I actually just installed my HKS EVC about a month ago and I'm LOVING it. :D.

Anyways, if you are intested in the Wastegate Shim Kit, it is $15 + S&H ($8.00 to the central 48 states) and you can find it at www.MDCmotorsports.com or just PM me and I can get you more details.
Thanks and good luck.

Jeff @ MDC

BTW: If you get 550cc Injectors, DO NOT RUN IT without getting a Lex AFM or MAFT(PRO). Same goes the other way...And a Walbro 255lph would be nice to have if you are upgrading your fuel system, as well. ;)

Apologies. I'm a bit tired so, sorry for the lack of intelligence;) but if I understand what you are saying...

If you get a boost controller (or any method of getting a little bit more boost), doing some fine tuning (you said you have the S-AFC?) with some more boost will do the job (for now).
