MMMM Black Dash MMMMM

Well i have been so busy the past couple of weeks... some of you might remember the "MMM Black Carpet MMM" thread...this is an update

i finally got around to putting the black dash back in the car.... heres some pics..

i still have a LONG way to go but im falling love with the black on black look the car is beginning to get... and YES im STILL driving around like this

i put a stock gauge cluster in for now until my special ultra secret fiberglass cluster is done :naughty:

the dash itself needs to still be "polished" and cleaned up for the full effect...but you guys get the idea.

comments, questions, concerns for my safety? hehe

seriously...im GLAD you cant tell i did anything...that means i did it well i took my stock burgandy dash and painted/dyed it black....

shit, it was burgundy? dam good job ,, !!! how did you do it ?

2 years ago I painted my dash, but I used a paint gun and some PPG vinyal paint... /// clear coat / and the prep coating...

DAM!!! that was burgundy!, you sir are great with detail, even with all the wires and doodads all over the car, it still looks dam sexy!!! btw what speakers are those? I"m looking to replace my stock ones

ideal: what'd you use for dye? i wanted to use foliatec, but it's sort of hard to come by, and today i was in an autoparts store and saw VHT black vinyl interior dye... i almost bought it, but wanted to know what others used.

and btw: it does look awesome. i dont care about the rest of the interior... hell, you should've seen my 92 maxima when i first had it.... i had most of the dash out, door panels, it was good. people were afraid to ride in it...

Without A/C black interior sucks... so hot in the summer, lol.

I want to add A/C to my Corolla, lol... stupid black interior in a black car.

Oh well, at least black interiors look really nice! Plus your targa I think, not sure if you have A/C.

and jeff yes its a targa and i have AC...well i have whats needed lol the AC hasnt worked for about 3 years and i have yet to get around to fixing it :nono:
