I don't have the figures either, but they are alot easier(because they are lighter) to put back on than the saws are.

Sawblades also weighed different in different years. I recently bought two off an 87 and they were heavier than my 89's, on my 89's I could see where they had some extra material removed during manufacturing.

I've got 225/50R16 up front and 245/50R16 in the back. can't help you with the weight though.

Not sure how much they weigh, but I have them on my baby, and I have 255/50/16s on the back, and they fit just fine. no problems, no spacers. should be able to go to at least 275, but that's a guess. I've got 225s on the front.

255s? and no rubbing issues, are you lowered at all? also, could you guys post up a side pic of your cars with the rims mounted?

i have 275/35/18 on the rear with no rubbing at all and my car is lowered. Not on supra rims though but just to give you an idea of sizes you would be safe with.

better to have same front and rear so you can cycle your front to the back and get new fronts... we all know supras chew the rears ;)
true, but the NA rims are 16x8 in the front and 16x9 in the rear. i guess i will have to "try" and not chew up the backs.... :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

MKIV 16's look gay!
If you want to stick with 16" wheels, and want light ones, then pick up some FD RX7 wheels. 16x8 and 16x9 I believe. IIRC they're like 16lbs/ea.
Oh, and the kicker? They look great!

well i got them mainly because they were priced great. couldnt pass up the deal. plus i will probably use them as street driving rims for awhile and then switch the rears to drag racing use with 255 drag radials. i think they look good, but to each their own i guess.

The fronts are 16x8 and rears are 16x9. Allan must have got 2 sets of fronts, for some reason. I kinda like how mine look too....
