Been lurking for 183 days apparantly and I've been warned I have to post something;

lol, got a GE in the summer (07) as a donor for another project but liked it so much I sold that project and started on the HG replacement. Engine turns out to be scrap anyway so I bought a new GTE engine (x-mas 07) and it came wrapped in a complete car. Turbo and intercooler pipes were off, fuel tank MIA and no exhaust. I've been slowly reconnecting it all back up when weather allows. I've just got the fuel tank to refit and she should fire up.
It's been resprayed at some point in BMW Inca Blue as well, but it's having some arch repairs so it's multi-coloured at the moment.
Future plans are for a track car, so the interior is out (but it was mostly missing anyway), and I've found a rollcage local that I can have. Hopefully a side-exit exhaust and relocated fuel tank system with a flattened rear hatch floor with relocated battery.
That's the plan at the moment.
