i finally got around to making spaghetti...but i forgot to take pics as i started so i just got snaps of the basic ingerdients and the final product(s)
ingredients:
1 onion chopped
6 peices of medium sized garlic crushed
6 slices of kraft cheese
1 bottle of ragu traditional sauce
1 packet of lawrys spaghetti powder
1 pack of mushrooms sliced thin
1 pack of angel hair pasta
2 handfulls of farmer john lil' smokies sliced
1lbs lean ground pork
The Sauce:
heat pot and add a quarter sized amount of oil.
when oil is hot enough add garlic, 2 minutes after putting garlic, add onions. when onions start to turn a shiny transparent green add 1lbs of lean ground pork.
when most of the ground pork looks browned apply the lawrys spaghetti powder, mix and apply cover.
when powder has mixed with the meat, add the ragu sauce and stir allow mixture boil.
when mixture starts to boil add the 6 slices of cheese, let them melt. when they have melted stir again.
when the sauce is done it should look like this
The Spaghetti:
fill a pot half way with mildly hot water to speed the boiling process.
put a strainer inside the pot so that the pasta will not stick to the bottom and burn.
when the water starts to boil rapidly add the pasta and a tablespoon of oil.
when pasta is done to your liking turn off stove and drain. DO NOT RINSE as it will lose its ability to "stick" to the sauce.
it should look like this.
*boiling*
*done*
the finished product should end up like this
im missing some pictures here...but ill put them up when i get the chance to. ENJOY!
