Well I made a left out of work and made my way over to the right turn and got on the gas for a second just because I like the sound of my exhaust. I passed a 04' body style Civic SI in the process and I guess he noticed my sound and got behind me and rides close, so I slow down to about 30 mph and dropped into 2nd and made my right turn. There is a sign that says keep moving so there is no need to worry about yeilding and plus there was no traffic on the street we were turning onto. Anyway after the turn he pops out from behind me, pulls next to me pauses and then we hit it. To my surprise we stay even, 3rd I put the nose infront of him, 4th I put about a half to 3/4 of a car length on him and I shut down because there is a light coming up and I have to make a right on the the next street. Like I said I was surprised because I am not sure off the Civic's exact power to weight ratio but I assumed it was better than mine, so I don't know if the guy didn't use the car properly or what but it is a win for me so I will take it.:biglaugh:

Those civics are rated at 160 hp. With the age of your car, you should be around 190hp. You weigh more, but have more power..... :biglaugh:

dude u have a trailblazer SS :aigo: ? Id hope it would be able to smoke a SI by many lengths with that LS2 in there. Is yours AWD or 2WD? Ive heard the 2wd models are capable of running mid 13s with minimal mods
