Some I know are members here. Some may know me too.
I generally avoid moderation and prefer medication...medification..dammit...modification.. there.
I get into trouble but will try to be good.

Mostly a 5/6MGE guy. But I have good study habits. I hear old guys fine.

I made this.

Thank you for the heads-up on pictures.

But hardly anyone likes being the oldest one at the party. I'm 48 and a grampa. Wait 'til you're old.

I have done alot of work understanding what Toyota meant in these old designs. I have all the piston volume versus crank angle per 720 degrees posted. I've done the component weight versus rpm studies for your bottom ends. The intake charge speeds, ignition studies, and a speed and accelration per 720 degrees for your bottom ends is not posted here it's posted there.

I've posted rpms and shift points overlaid to compressor maps for the common upgrade turbos.

I don't think it was the intro, bro, it is chilly in here.

sorry about that pic size, I'll re-size

I'm sure there will be a bit more interest Kenny. Just going to take a few weeks ;)

Change of plans sorta --- Initial startup/testing will be on the Silver cars engine. A bit more compression than the dyno mule, but better than the Red cars engine.

We just have to install and do a back up dyno initially. All the TE,VE, and ME studies are there and the math for what I calling an improvement.

Besides you were supposed to buy me a latte and you said " ummm...we were washing the car at the family reunion and you're probably a pedophile like on tv....." so now you have to bribe me. And it better be good. Ask Tanya how I bribe her.

You have two hundred percent more posts than i and I feel your power.

I feel absolutely hypnotized. I always underestimated the importance of the influence of the number of posts.

When I'm brave enough will you let me post?

My application developer deal is to dyno first, then install and do a back-up dyno. In having done the TE, VE, and ME calculations I understand where the stock peformance is to occur.

But removing the stock intake tract is not without fault. True Toyota restrictor-plated the intake. But they achieved very high VE of 111% at the torque peak of 4400 with accurate pulse tuning acoustic supercharging.

At the stock hp peak there is only a VE of 104% and it was only possible by pulse tuning. The stock cam duration is so conservative that the port timing is brief.

I show a 15% horsepower gain can be achieved on stock cams with standalone. Aftermarket manufacturers claims of improvements must show benefit. A 15% improvement is a worthy sales tool. But that is only the beginning.

I have a selection of cams and headers to test. Then my massaged head. Sorry. Proof of benefit of our set of forged rods and pistons. Titanium valves upgrade proof of benefit. The studies are completed and the ITBs and manifold are the first pieces of the testing to be undertaken.

The developement team will continue with testing as I assemble the 7MGE manifold. The 7MGTE customer has until spring but is eager. I'm going to follow some new ideas about cylinder versus runner and plenum volumes with the turbo manifold. The ITBs are a far bigger advantage than is understood.
