mk4 motor mounts fit?

Is it true that it is possible to use MK4 motor mounts on an 89+? If so do you buy them from the dealer? And will any year work?

Yeah, I have them in my car. They are 98 MK4 motor mounts that you can buy from the dealer.

Yes they work. They are cheaper, seem as though they are more reliable. I have them on my car. I took some comparison pics also. If someone wants to post them up for me, shoot an email addy my way.

Are you talking about using mk4 mounts with the 7M????? If so will thay work with the Square style???

I used them also. I bought them for about $55 each from Jeff Watson. I had to grind off one of the little nipples off the bottoms of them but they worked fine.

They are much stronger than than the weak stock mounts. If you drag race with drag-radials, the stock mounts will break eventially.
