So Cal
Does anyone know the proper procedure on how to retrive these molding without any problems. The one molding that curves gives me problems.

If its the one in the pics, you just undo the 1 screw and pull...it just slides off

The window has to come out. The moulding clips onto the window edge.
Not if you're good, and have good trim tools. ;)

I pulled a mint set of rear quarter glass from junkyard car using very, very careful prying with good automotive trim tools. I didn't even put a scratch on one of them, AND it took less time than removing the quarter glass. :)

He's likely talking about the other pieces of trim showing in the top of your second pic.

Thanks guys I am heading to the junkyard tomorrow. and I need the quater glass molding cuz mine are peeling. I know how to get the corners out and the straight one on top but the one on the bottom the long curvey one sucks.

Some may not know, but all the window trim parts are available new from Toyota. Champion and a couple other locations have the cheapest prices. Each piece is around $50-$80.

You can also use an automotive polish on them. My painter buffed up an old piece so that it was glossy like new.

I got my entire set, including the piece at the bottom of the rear window for $15. :)
