im upgrading the intercooler on my mk3...but i have a funny question, ther mk3 dosent have alot of airflow space in the front bumper without slicing up the bumper bracket thing, so with a factory facelift bumper why do the pictures is see of supras only have intercoolers that cover maybe 1/2 of the airspace in the center of the grill, why not custom made to cover the entire front air grill and have endtanks in behind the bumper out of airspace. would this create to much lag for a stock 7m?
also with that hight of the mk3 air grill a intercooler would only be 110-120mm high but the length of the grill space 850mm, with a bar and plate arrangement thers gotta be one bar one plate so at proberly 8mm each there would be about 7parts within the intercooler to flow the air, and the rest being the cooling fins, if you get what i mean, my question is would the be a problem with the 7parts not being able to flow enough air thru the cooler that the engine pushing thru it, causing pressure build up lag etc etc, or would it flow it nicely.
i dont have access to a flow tester, and ill be making up the cooler myself
thanks
Nick
