This was off a mk4 2jzge.

This is the ffim is now bolted to the 2jzge in my mk3. as you can see its a tight fit.(click on picture)

I took a rubber mallet and modified the booster to make it fit but IF i keep it ill have the ffim shorted so it doesn't vibrate off the booster and cause safety hazards(click on picture)

Mr shock tower is close to Mr ffim too which i don't know if this is bad or not (i have no idea on how much a engine twists on mounts?!)(click on picture)

this gives you an idea how far up the linkage on the q45 stands(click on picture)

and the tear in the sound deadener is from the q45 with the hood shut so this is a big concern. yes i have tried clocking the TB different, same story it blocks something or get hung up on the linkage.(click on picture)

only thing i can think of is custom.... and with out a turbo from my reading you end up starving cyls 5 and 6 of air... also why would you even of thought to take a rubber mallet to your brake booster??????

I assume you're going NA-T? If not, the FFIM is pointless.

The manifold needs to be modified. Throttle body flange needs to be cut off and welded back on so the throttle body sits level and won't hit anything. Rear has to be reshaped (it's probably for the MKIV or a RHD car), and you'll need a new brake booster...

my ffim ended up fitting pretty tight too. it just cleared the booster and shock tower. but the throttle body hit the hood just a little bit. so i cut the hood enough to where it wasn't an issue. it does sorta suck having a hole in my hood as far as looks but i didn't want to cut the flange off and get my friend to reweld it. so i went with the simpler route. hood is still plent sturdy. sadly in your case its hitting the booster too. so you might as well cut the flange off so it points down some. as for the booster i would cut that whole mess off the back. you can see its capped off with two plates of aluminum. i would make one cut with more angle so you can cap it off with one piece. it won't cost much if you take the time to cut and fit everything then pay somebody to weld it up. heres some pics of mine so you can get an idea of how tight it fits.

see now if i angle the flange down then i cant get a line on the power steering pump. the booster problem is simple but idk what to do about the ps pump and the battery tray and the hood interference. im tempted to move the battery to the trunk. ive already got a heavy gauge wire ran back there for a system.
