Mk3 drivetrain strength???

Well I just bumped up to 18psi and my clutch started slipping in 3rd gear so I'm wondering at this level is there any drivetrain components that I should worry about..Or how much power can the tranny/rearend/axles..etc take from the factory .I plan on running drag radials soon what should I beef up

How olds the clutch. The stock drivetrain is very strong and can take alot of power before having to do anything.

It's a stock clutch but it's in good shape probably a year old

the stock drive train is very stout. most people wont find the upper limits. on the R154 the main problem in the beginning is the clutch which is good to around 300hp or so. some people have gone higher on it some dont hit that number. after that is the thrust washers and the lsd. the lsd is a wear issue more than a power issue where its old, never been flushed, dumping the clutch on drag radials etc. the thrust washers just fail and i cant remember off the top of my head the ballpark but thats gonna get ya started at the very least! good luck man
