well i've been on this forum for quite some time just trying to get parts but i think its time to start contributing to this forum by starting with a build thread.

well i currently own a grey and tan interior 1987 7mgte with r154 trans.
I've been working on this car for over a year now but just collecting parts from this forum. When i bought the supra it was not running because it had spun a rod bearing so i decided it was worth the 650 dollars to purchase and have it towed back to my house. Once it arrived at my house it went straight into the garage where it has been sitting on the same jack stands for over a year. I bought a used JDM engine and figured i could swap it in. And for about a year i've been running into more and more things i need to replace. Seeing as how i'm really low on cash right now i can't get my hands on any stock replacement parts.

my list of mods are ARP bolts (are a must), Tanabe SHM exhaust, high flow cat, sogi short shift mod, fx clutch stage 3, hks ssqbov (not hong kong sport hahah) um k&n drop in filter, spearco intercooler, and jdm engine

Sounds like a great build. Grey is my favorite color for the supra.

more on my build i just got my fuel inlet pipe because i crushed my previous one here is a picture of the old pinched one

i finally got it off from the fuel rail

while and while i was looking around i noticed this sensor or something does anyone know what it is?

its right under the intake manifolds next to the first knock sensor

i think thats the vsv valve but i could be wrong

That is a VSV valve. Were in Orange County are you in.

Your clutch looks identical to my southbend one... even the pressure plate, just mine is red! haha

Sounds like a good project though, and you can google machine shops and then just call around and ask prices and what not...

I'm in Cypress about 30 minues away from huntington beach

I was told it was a good clutch so I just bought it

And after solving my fuel line problem I found anothe one now it is a destroyed intercooler pipe T.T
