Misfire and knock sensor prob

i got a little problem....at idle and at cruise everything is okay but when i pass the 1/4 of the thorttle open....the car is only misfiring and i get knock sensor signal open or short (code 52) i replaced my plugs...gotta get some new spark plug wire (they are in really bad condition) but if it dont fix the problem what i should do??? the car is like hating boost...at more then 2 psi it missfire

Might wan't to consider replacing one (or more) of your knock sensors. I had the same problem, hesitation misfire under boost. I had a code 52, and replaced my front knock sensor, and everything went back to normal. While I was at it, I grabbed some NGK wires 'n plugs, car has never run better. If you replace your Knock sensor and the problem persists, then your wiring is bad, and you might wanna consider doing the ever popular knock sensor rewire. Directions on how to do this can be found on supras.com
