So...everything on the car was working fine until i took it to the track (best time of 15.4.....guess everything wasn't working fine). I thought I blew an intercooler hose.

I already blew the throttle body coupler once so I replaced that and set my tps and checked the ISC. took it for a test drive and I could feel the ecu pull the timing, and then to my surprise I hit fuel cut around 4psi (factory gauge) where as I was getting 8 before.

the car is also having idling problems. When the engine is cold I can start the car and it idles between 1k and 1.5k rpm and then if I just tap the gas it drops to like 300 and begins to bounce between 300 and 1200 rpm until I tap the gas again and then it seems to stabilize sometimes. I swapped the AFM electornics with my 87 and it seems to idle fine now (round 700) but I'm still getting timing retard and fuel cut.

Other problem. Crusing in 5th gear at like 25 mph if I lift off the gas completely and then slowly get back on it the car jerks a little bit, almost like it's taking a second for the clutch to engage. I just put new master and slave clutch cylinders in it but before that I was having clutch slipping problems (not since the new master/slave).

I was pulling a few codes previous to taking it to the track (both AFM codes, A/C code? (not hooked up) and a code 71???? I'll have to double check on which ones I have them written down.

Ideas would be great. I'm thinkin boost leak but I already checked...I may have missed something.

reset the ECU then go back and check codes again after running the car a bit. See what you come up with.

Although it still sounds like a boost leak to me.
