Not that slow, my old one would top 140mph, (gps verified). Yes they lack the torque of a 7m, But the engine is so sweet and Rev happy.

I beg to differ - there's about as much aftermarket as the 7M - look towards Japan and Australia, the two markets which got most of the 1G-GTE's.

The IS200's also use 1G's, albeit in the 1G-FE N/A trim...

1G's never came here any that are came in as grey imports Kai.

We never even got them at all.

In the US, the MKIII came in the MA70 widebody with the 7M. That's it.

grey import = personal import, we got WB MA70's and that's it as well.

I believe late Japanese GA70's were WB that one looks to be a Narrow body, it would be a nice starting point for a UK car being rust free is rare there I'd snap it up at that price.
