I just bought this turbo mk3 about a month ago, it supposedly had a fresh engine rebuild about a year or so ago, but now there is a minor knocking noise at about 15k to 25k rpm nothing at idle and nothing after 25k rpm, the oil press. is about 4Lbs at idle and only rises to about 20 or so while driving, seems low?? the car idles semi rough until warm then smoothins out., and minor smoke is coming out of the tail pipe, the car drives shooth and has good power! so, just wondering if any one had any ideas, its driving me nuts, i was thinking it has somthing to do with the oil clearence in the rod bearings, but id like to have some more opinions, thanks...
