I found a guy selling an 87 Supra Turbo with 120,xxx miles and I have two questions.

1. Is it possible for the car to not move at all if it needs a new clutch?
2. What are the most common problems(other than BHG) with these cars?

I have an 87 Cressida, and I know a little about these cars, but I've never owned a 5-speed and don't know the logistics of it's driveabillity when the clutch is bad. I've driven plenty of manual trnasmission cars, just never owned one so spare me any comments on my ability to drive etc. Thanks.

depends on what exactly has failed, if it is the throwout or the hydrolics. you may be able to drive it (id tow it anyway as our syncros are pretty weak and easily damaged). if it is the disc or pressureplate it will not drive at all

either way id plan for a trailer to prevent further damage
