MT ET Streets 26X10.5-16 on factory 1991 5star rims. Any chance/hope of fitting? What's the width on factory rims, 8"?

Ok, I found my answer. Minimum recommended wheel with 7.40 in.
Max recommended wheel width 9.40in.
I might go for them.

Factory MK3 5 spokes are 7 inches wide..

mk4 NA and TT are larger though. Dont know the numbers off the top of my head however

Rear Mk4 NA wheels are 16x8, if I remember correctly the fronts are 16x7, but I could be mistaken. 16x9 rear and 16x8 front? That sounds more like it, doesn't it? Anyway, turbo Mk4 wheels are 17x9.5 rear and 17x8 front. If you can find a set, FD wheels are nice and light, not to mention pretty cheap...
