tte's last activity on here was 2 days ago, maeso's was back on the 10th. So their still around.

i'm aware of their last activity. the point of this post was to find out if anyone actually has been contacted by them, knows them or is owed parts by them.

according to my current count, there are at least two other people that are owed parts by both maeso and tte....

I bought a center console from him a while ago. Actually, I think I bought his first one. Anyway, it took him a while, but he came through. I've talked to him about other products he was planning on fabricating, but he ended up ditching them because he couldn't find reliable help.

Don't worry, he'll deliver.

I think it was about 2 - 2 1/2 months. I can't quite recall. I anticipated a wait because I asked for a console that hade the radio recess that had the radio opening, so I knew he had to make a new mold.

I was concerned too, but he did come thru & deliver a very nice product.

Thats pretty messed up, because I was going to be getting a few parts from TTE... But I dont think I wanna wait months for my parts... No matter how good they are... I waited 3-4 weeks from my Ron R FFI, and it was well worth the wait... But waiting 3 months for a center consol that might take a few days to make, that's ridiculous... I seriously hope these guys reply to these threads soon...

tte was always kind of shakey when I was dealing with him as well. But he didn't rip me off, and I waited that long as well. Then after that I was dissapointed by the poor fit of the product. He did give me a refund though, so all was not bad.

tte?

I paid for a custom pod from him on November 2nd. Starting to get irritated, I've been waiting a long ass time for something as simple as a guage pod. It's not a shit ton of money or anything, but I get worried and agitated when I don't have a product in hand after a month..regardless of whether it was $500 or $5. Life gets hectic but damn, maybe he should stop taking orders until he gets all the current ones done and shipped out. Looks like hes starting to rack up a miniature mob of mk3 guys who want their product.

I come from a land down under
99.9% of my business is from the online community, during a production run of parts I post daily updates and if for any reason there is a hold up I post details.

I find I don't have time to e-mail progress reports but posting an update only takes a few minutes so the guys are always well informed.

If things go wrong I find it's better to front up explain the situation than to disapear for days, weeks, months and leave it open to peoples imaginations.

If there's an honest delay for whatever reason people understand if you tell them.

I really don't understand this situation as word of mouth on the net is instant and will adversly affect any future dealings.

well, here's an update:

tte: PM'd me and stated that the company that is clearing the consoles is holding up.

maeso: PM'd me and stated the spoiler has been damaged and he refunded my $$. unfortunate since they're so hard to come by.

so, there's some progress....which is good.
