I am going to be rebuilding my motor soon and was wondering if I should get a metal HG? Is it worth it and do they even make MHG's for the N/A? Any help would be geratly appreciated.

Metal Head Gasket A MUST!! I have built three NA two of which have MGH. The first had a stock HG. These inline six engines get extremely hot, and anything to help your engine is a positive step in the right direction. Turbo or not go with the MHG. Pay now, or pay later!! Those who say go with stock are sadly mistaken. It is also a good idea to go with some new head bolts. Stock or ARP work well. Also a reminder to deck you head and block which you probably already know. Good luck!

I agree...., the mhg is a permanent fix with the arp bolts. I would recomend hks or greddy but hks is just as good......., if not better. OH, and it doesn't matter if your'e a gte or a ge. My ge has bhg right now. it seems to me that supra should still consider a recall.

DUH, right. But wouldn't it be awesome if they said look at the endurance of the supra, Let's not only bring it back.., Let's upgrade the nice ones that are still out there. Nissan did that shiat with some of there early z cars.
