Above is a link to the pic of the ride height on my 89 turbo mk3. The front boots/ride height adjustments I've ran all the way out, to the highest setting and the rear boots/ride height adjustments, I've ran all the way in, to the lowest setting. So to reiterate, the fronts are maxxed out on the high side and the rears are maxxed out on the low side. The result is unbelievably gay and I'm baffled that for a $900.00 set of coilovers I'm still unable to get a good, level ride height. Is this normal or is my car sooo:aigo: twisted and bent, it'll neva luk rite!??!?!

The rears are known for not going all that low, but remember that you can also adjust the spring perch level, just need to make sure that when you have the wheel off the ground the spring isnt completely loose. I cant see the pic from work but I have the same coilovers, the rears don't go all that low but the fronts have a lot of adjustability. Try raising the lower spring seats on the fronts and lower them on the backs.

Thanks CyFi6, your avatar scares me in a good way! BTW mine are the silver track 32's. It's confusing to me but I would be afraid raising the spring perch in the front would invariably change the initial tension on the spring. Is this a good way to raise the car? Or does it take away some driveability? I'll prolly do that b/c im not a professional driver, I just want a sweeet lookn supra!!!!!

Me gusta? lol.. I have the same coilovers, when I raise my car off the ground, my rear springs are completely loose and the fronts I can rotate. If yours are highly preloaded you aren't going to be able to get as low. You just want to make sure that when you raise the car off the ground that the springs cant come unseated. I'm not sure on the specifics of how the preload will affect the handling, but I haven't had any major issues (not that I road race the car or anything). Make sure that you have the fronts on the front and the rears on the rear, I have heard its possible to mix them up, not sure how true that is but worth taking a look at. I still have a lot of adjustability left in my fronts whereas my rears are bottomed out in the tube.

It sounds like you installed them incorrectly. Before you even install them you must set the spring perch. Then adjust for height..
It would be pretty tough to put the front on the back or visversa, as the tops of the coilover with the studs are traiangularly shaped (as the stock fronts) and rears are round (same as stock)

OP Post a pic of your rear susp. and fronts with the tires off.

The problem is the amount of adjustability in the rears... even with the tube fully bottomed out, the car doesn't sit low enough for some peoples liking, and the only way to lower it further is to lower the perch.

And by lowering the perch far enough to make the car sit even in the rear, with the front, you are un-seating the spring. I was thinking it would be okay, but I'm fairly certain after I set it that way, I hit a speed bump and I heard the coilover spring jump loose!!!

I completely forgot about setting the pre-load on the springs. Sorry about that man. I had written up a how-to on adjusting these things a long time ago, it should still be on AZSupracentral.com somewhere, possibly the link from the tech section.

I have Kei Office on mine and have the same issue in the rear.. I bought helper-springs and guides (rather expensive I might add) in order to help this until I get my rears rebuilt with shortened shocks.

I would advise against the Megan Track 32 way coilovers for our gen. Supra if you are looking to "slam" your car! They just don't do the trick!!!

Can go lower!
Who really wants to 'slam' their car anyways? Thats only fun and cool for a day then it just gets old..especially if you drive your car semi-daily

Ya works perfectly now thanks, seems pretty good actually, especially if it can still go lower, when I meant slammed I wasn't thinking anything toooo crazy, just so I can get it nice and flush

Lol, joking aside, tires can help depending on what you have. Though that's only once you're decently low with your camber set where it needs to be. I'm 100% flush front and rear with barely a finger gap, but it looks a little off because I'm running tires that aren't wide enough.
