Me VS a Turbo integra

well this race was a surprise to me... My friend wanted to know if I wanted to race him, and I said yes for shits and giggles...We line up and go, I get him off the line(rwd>fwd) and he catches up, but the thing is, we stayed neck and neck till the end...

Next race.. We line up again, and then we go, but this time, I dont hear that much tire hop from him..Well next thing I know, im 2-3 cars behind him and it stayed that way to the end

Last race, We line up yet again and go...we were even untill I see him fall behind fast, and I keep on going, I put 5-6 cars on him...It turns out he had a little trouble with 2nd..

so I can say I beat a turbo integra with my NA

He's already stated that the integra owner got own'd by second, so maybe he can't drive worth a shit. Other than that, I don't have any explanation other than he's setting you up for a money race. He should own you rather easily.

Not necessarily, it could be one of the crappier motors that's been beat on for YEARS and/or he's running low boost.

Once upon a time, I used to drive an integra which only had visual horsepower. One day I raced a buddy of mine in his n/a supra, he only beat me by a fender length.

so, yea...N/A's are slow, slow, and slow.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention, THEY'REslow

lol i mean im n/a with headers, bored out throttle body, .20 pistons, , short ram intake and full exhaust and a hardtop and can walk on a gsr barely till top of 4th. I can imagine if a turbo was on one that it would own me realy bad, even on low boost. My boy has a gsr with 330 at the front wheels turboed and its a beast. but i got something 4 him tho when im done with my build thread. What yr integra was it? if it was one of the earlier modells with the flip lights like the supra then maybe it coulda happen

yah like i said, he had trouble with second, thats why I won one race.The other race what he had me, well he was driving better. and the tie, well must of been me driving good and him driving ok...

and yah my NA is strong, 61k on her...


On the integra, the kid really doesnt know alot, its a bigger turbo on a ls block...ill try to get some more infomation

Uh just my 2 cents........... The majority of my friends have built turbocharged gsr"s.. The weight alone gives them an advantge. The ls block has no oil squitters , a little longer stroke, and no vtec. I bolt on turbo kit can still push 300hp out of a stock ls in a 2600lb car . He should have wore your doors off but never the less good kill.

i raced a RSX and we were neck and neck and then he stopped.... i got him pretty good thru first and second though!

if hes only on like... 10psi of boost when hes racing you, then its not all that suprising, most of the hondas have to push 25psi+ to make some real good numbers.

good race none the less.

my del sol from a dig 1.6 sohc gives my buddy a hard time from a dig lol. Highway he got me. Oh yea n he's turbo'd

i raced a turbo prelude and i got smoked. like not just a few car lengths but he was gone before i even hit full boost in 2nd. it was a fully built engine but still some of the turbo hondas around here are scary fast.

Shoot a turbo'd Integra will give a modded MK3 a run for their money. I have been beat by a couple of Integra/Civics that are boosted. Shoot a car that weighs almost 1000lbs less and 300fwhp will keep up with or beat a lot of MK3's that have close to 375rwhp. It sounds like the driver of the Integra didn't know how to drive or had a really bad tune on his car.

That thing should've walked you with ease!

But none the less, good runs. Now just go and turbo that thing!!
