Well, before I start, It's a possibility that I have light rod knock, but then again it seems to be the crank..anyways, I will say that it is possible to STILL have fun while driving safely and gentle:). Anyways, I'm out driving around town with the usual crowd of ricers, trucks, 'maro's and stangs...I'm just leaving Arbys and I'm just driving the speed limit minding my own business, I pull up and am sitting at a stop light. A mustang pulls up beside me just feathering the gas and had his music up really loud...just thinkin it was some punk. Didn't intend to race, BUT, of course the light turns green and he just HAS to dump the clutch and burn out all over the place like an idiot, so I take off like normal and catch up to him going about 35...we sit side by side with no traffic in front of us...I spool it lightly and it blows off...so he stomps it..and its already half a car because I hesitated, and I put it probably 3/4 down on the throttle and it still drops down into the next gear and there was a "little bit" of turbo lag, but I still managed to pull past him at around 60-65 with ease. Afterwards, he pulls into a lot and I follow to hear what he had to say, turned out to be pretty cool about it...Nothing funnier than seeing a Mustang owner hop out of his car...walk up to mine and say..."Damn. That's gotta be a turbo":naughty:
Not sure if this is considered a kill or not but it's a rare occurance that I have a little fun anymore.:(

Bleh...(I think just about every Supra owner has beat a Mustang...why am I bragging)? Does that make me a bad person?...Nahh..:icon_razz

you can't call yourself a supra driver until you spank the pants off of a stang...it's like an initiation! Can't really call myself a supra driver because my first and only postworthy kill with the new car was the '06 vette, but I'll nab a stang someday.

so you thought wrong, not all of us have killed a stang, but nice job and keep those kids in line!
