Well my and my step-dad (driver) was coming home from eating (yay mcdonalds) anyway, and we pulled up to this old Mustang. He smiled and started reving it. My dad couldn't resist knowing that's his favorite car, but suprisingly we stayed neck and neck. We let off to slow down for the next light which was red and the Mustang pulled in. It was smoking pretty bad, so we pulled up beside him. We talked to the guy after multiple attempts of fixing the radiator hose (poped off).

He was a really cool guy, it was an inline 6 carb'ed engine. Here's a pic of us beside each other.. Note the 5,000 ft antenna haha!

That poor mustang has seen better days. Your car however looks like it's in it's prime.............

P.S. you should've handed him his ass though. I can't believe a six cylinder mustang could keep up with you.

I had 4 60's Stangs growing up (in the 80's). Mine were all 289's, but my Dad had a 66 with a straight 6. They were a good bit different top end, but the 6 was pretty peppy red light to red light. It wasn't quite as quick as the 289 though. I could see the 6 and a 7M-GE as being pretty comparable. GOOD KILL!!!!!
