Today I finally hooked up my manual boost controller (TurboXs)... I also use my turbo timer (Blitz Dual DCII) for a boost gauge. Ever since I put in the boost controller has not been reading anything - just sitting at 0.00 hkPa...

I also hit fuel cut a few times determining how high i can put my boost up, I heard it is just to prevent damage to the motor. I have the supporting mods to do this, and the motor is healthy. Is it bad to hit fuel cut?

fuel cut saves your motor!!! You probably have your boost guage hooked up wrong....and if you are running the stock afm then you will boost cut like a sonofabitch!

What mods exactly are you running?

Hmm... i drove it around more today, the gauge actually reads all of the -0.xx digit readings but once i actually hit anythnig over 0.00 it stays at 0.00...

For mods I am running 3.5" ddp, 3.5" test pipe, a full 3" catback, intake, brand new plugs, brand new wires on a very low km JDM 7M...

did you make sure to install it correctly? and have you set the boost on the MBC? turn the knob down a few turns, and does your stock boost gauge register boost or no?

and you may have it hooked up backwards.

Stock boost gauge works like it used to, just my Turbo timer, which is also my more accurate boost gauge does not register anything higher then vacuum.. anything over 0.00 it doesn't read. I hooked up the boost controller the proper way, just like the manual shows, and I'm sure because it did increase the boost - I have never hit fuel cut before, and yes it was a bitch with the stock AFM. :icon_mad:

where do you have the turbo timer line ran to? because my friend has the same turbo timer, and they do work, so im hoping its just something small...

I have it sitting right beside the stock IC piping on the 7M.. the bottom of the boost controller is hooked up to the waste gate and the side output is hooked up to the turbo housing.. so i don't know. :icon_mad:

which turboxs boost controller do you have? because most of them, the bottom port goes to the intake nipple because thats where the entering air is, and it pushes againgst the ball and spring...please double check to make sure its intalled correctly.

and does the blitz have its on line being ran to a vaccum/boost source off of the intake manifold or FPR?

No I will hook up my Blitz up differently then, I think I have an idea on what to do now. As for the MBC this is the one I have:
