Has anyone else been so lucky to go? I was at the show in Denver Sunday, and gotta say...

SLIPKNOT.

Holy sheeeeeet those guys are awesome live. Only band I've ever seen get a crowd that rowdy was Pantera. Seriously. If you get a chance, go see them. Rest of the bands were alright, but we were a little miffed that Devil Wears Prada got to play after Anthrax... other than that, was pretty cool. :)

Mario, Mario, Mario... the fuck dude?

Now THAT is a lineup I would LOVE to see play together at a show. Just to see what sort of crowd it attracts. Once you're in, you're not allowed to leave. :evil2:

Kinda reminds me of when 311, Hoobastank, and Jay-Z played the Sprite Remix (remember that stuff?) Tour. As soon as Jay-Z came on, about 2/3 of the crowd just bailed...

Mario that is so offensive! lol

I havent looked into it but I dont think the mayhem festival comes to Canada. Even if it does my life has been stupid busy lately, however slipknot is the best band I have ever seen live.

Too bad the crowd bailed on the one guy who as more talent than all the members of both other bands combined

Well, to be fair, it was pissing some serious rain on us (right in the middle of the Arizona monsoon season), and when it rains there, it RAINS. Pretty much started coming down hard right between 311 and Jay Z. Wasn't my thing then, but now, I probably would have stuck around. :)

And for what it is worth, Hoobastank puts on a hell of a fun show, I was kinda surprised. They came and played our county fair (wanna talk about being in BFE?), so it is always nice when we get bands that are still somewhat relevant playing here.

I didn't go this year, but I've been to it a few times. Actually saw slipknot a couple years back and I think it was the mayhem tour.

Anyways, yeah slipknot is very good live. Love joey. Crazy good drummer.

Haven't been to many shows lately. Working 8-5 and living an hour from most the venues has just made me a little too lazy to make it out, lol.

You sir, can kiss my ass. It was a solid 9 hours worth of driving (round trip) for us to go see this one, and it is the 3rd closest venue I've seen a "major" show at. :p

Sooooo miss living in Phoenix. Still might have lived an hour from a lot of the venues, but I still lived in the same city haha. Still, good times, could see shows as often as I could afford really.

Agreed on Slipknot being awesome live though. Only Iron Maiden can match that level of energy. :D
