Disclaimer: Yes I searched and found nothing. That being said I may also be semi retarded and someone else may know the appropriate key words to find it, I didn't.

What is the max width tire you can put on a saw blade? I need new tires as the ones on there when I purchased were out of round and low on tread. Winter isnt that much of a big deal here but I am looking to get some all seasons till spring when I get my wheels and tires for summer. Any help is appreciated.

max id run is a 245 for street tires.. i'll run a 255 for drag radials (wont drive on the street).. seems kind of sloppy to me

I run 245/50ZR-16's on mine also. If you check out the charts at the GoodYear Tire site it was the within their Approved Rim Width list for a 7" rim. I liked this size since it gave me a taller tire, which meant a smoother ride. Now I can make it across an intersection without shifting into second.

i agree. ive driven the 255's on the street and they liked to squirm in turns. granted they are drag radials w/ fairly soft blocks, but a lot of it has to do w/ that wide of a tire on a 7" rim.
here is a pic to get an idea.

I had 245/45/16 toyo proxes a long time ago and they looked ballooned as is. I'm sure 255 would really be pushing it on stock rims.

i've been driving around on 255 Mickey Thompsons since Suprafest, they look really beefy, though all i do is drive to work and back and race at the track, they handle like crap. and NO they do not wear out quickly like everyone says, i smoke the shit outta these all the time and still have at least 75% tread, even use them in the rain, gotta love giving it half throttle while cruising at 40 and get a lil crazy.
